Resident Life

  • What are my options for paying my rent?

    Anything but cash, as required by law. You can pay with a check or on Henri Home with ACH/ credit card.

  • Am I required to purchase renter's insurance?

    No, but it is highly recommended.

  • What happens if a resident is locked out of their apartment?

     During business hours, we can let them in for free; after hours, there is a $100 charge and you will have to call the after hours number, 509.902.0838.

  • How do I submit a maintenance request?

    On Henri Home, our resident portal.

  • Do you have on-site maintenance?

    Yes, we have maintenance on-site M-F.

  • What is the guest policy?

    Same as Seattle City law- you must accompany your guest at all times and if staying longer than 2 weeks, they must be on the lease.

  • How do I pay for electricity and water?

    Third party utility (Billing Associates Group) for WSG; Seattle City Lights for electric.

  • Do I need to sort recycling and garbage?

    Yes, you would need to sort your own recycling and garbage and we offer compost as well!

Application Process

  • What other relevant fees or charges should I know about?

    Application fee = $50

  • Are there any move in charges?

    First month rent (prorated) and any outstanding deposits.

  • If I want to hold an apartment, how do I do that?

    Apartments appear on the website as we receive notice for them, but we highly recommend joining our Interest List to be sent notifications for apartments as they come available.

  • Do you accept a shorter lease term?

    No we do not offer short term leases.

  • Do you offer furnished units?

    We do not, but we can offer you a discount on monthly furniture rentals through our partner, Fernish. Ask our team for more information!

  • How long does it take for an application to be approved?

    ASAP; Depends almost entirely on the applicant returning their materials in a timely manner.

  • What are the application criteria?

    Please refer to the application criteria in the application itself.


  • Is smoking allowed?

    No, including cannabis due to the UW affiliation.

  • Do you have storage units available?

    No we do not have storage units.

  • Do you offer bike storage?

    Technically yes, outdoor only.

  • What are your pet fees? Are they refundable?


  • Is your property pet-friendly?

     Extremely–no deposit, fees or weight limits since before it was cool!

  • What amenities do the apartment include?

    W/D In-Unit; Community Center+Gym amenities; rentable P-Patch community garden plots

  • Does the building have a security system?

    We have nightly patrol’s (we are garden style).

  • What is the parking fee?

    All parking is free with your lease and individually assigned.

  • Is there parking available?

    Yes, each unit comes with an assigned space.
